Welcome to Kindergarten with Mrs. MacKenzie!
I grew up in Longview, Washington. I loved being with my family, playing outside, hiking and camping, reading, adventures with my sister, anything purple, animals, and helping my dad in his classroom. Now that I'm grown up, I love exactly the same things! Except now my dad drives all the way from Seattle to help me in our classroom.
My husband and I have two grown children, Dylan and Ian. They are both educators, too. Our amazing grandchild, James, is in 2nd grade. I'm so grateful that I get to spend time with my family and have a job I love so much. I'm excited each year to get to know students and families as we learn and grow together. I look forward to hearing about what you love and are grateful for!
